The water is as great a place to have fun as on land. Indeed, there are many water sports we can enjoy like, to name a few, white water rafting, surfing, water or jet skiing, snorkeling, or scuba diving. Of course, you will want to have photos of your water adventures. And you will need something to shield your precious SLR camera from getting wet and falling into disrepair.
The Aquapac Waterproof SLR Case adequately performs this job. Most SLRs can fit into an Aquapac. The biggest size available has a width of 145 mm, a height of 120 mm, and a depth of 72 mm for the camera body. The enclosure for the lens is 100 mm long with a diameter of 80 mm.
The hard lens at the end of the lens tube is optically-clear. This enables the camera to take clear and sharp pictures, even when submerged five meters below the surface. The case’s patented Aquaclip effectively keeps water out notwithstanding water pressure at the said depth. All you need to do is to make sure that the case is properly aligned with the clamps and twist a couple of levers.
The case is made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) that has been UV-stabilized. This means that the case is sturdy and will not break down nor fade with exposure to sunlight. It is also flexible, and this allows you to access and manipulate your camera’s knobs and buttons.
